Dear Families,
The summer is winding to a close and another school year is approaching. We are busily preparing to welcome your children to another great year of learning at Kol Ami.
Click below to download the registration form for both Religious School and Hebrew School. We are hoping to complete all registrations electronically so that you will no longer have to fuss with the paperwork. Please fill it out and return it ASAP – having accurate registration information before the start of school makes life much easier for us.

Click the links on the top right of this page for both the Religious and Hebrew school calendars. You can also check on the CKA website for a calendar of all Kol Ami activities.
Click the Curriculum link on the top right of this page for a brief description of the curriculum for each grade so that you have an advance look at what your children will be studying this year. Throughout the year we will continue to send you weekly updates to provide you with more information about what’s happening in the classrooms.
New and Improved for this Year:
- We’ve added 15 minutes to the end of our Religious School sessions so that we will run 10:00-12:15. Those of you who attended our closing assemblies last year know that we usually were having too much fun with your kids to stop at noon. So now we’ve just made the ending time of 12:15 official.
- Because the dates of the fall holidays don’t allow us to hold Religious School classes on most Sundays in September, we are going to start the year with a Family Learning Day on Sunday, September 13, 10:00-12:15 at KALC. Plan to come with your children on that day for an activity-filled opportunity to explore some of the themes of the High Holy Days as a family. This special session of religious school is a “don’t-miss” kickoff to the year and we hope to see every one of our students attending.
- Announcing the grand opening of Kibbitz Café! Bring your laptop! Bring your Starbucks! Bring whatever will make you comfortable in our new parent hangout. This year, Room 1 (formerly known as the Kg/1 classroom) will be a spot for parents to sit & kibbitz and schmooze during Religious School. Some weeks we will have parent education programming for you, other times there may be things you can help work on for the classrooms (scissors & glue provided), or just come and hang out and get acquainted and take advantage of our wireless connection. It’s the place to be on Sunday mornings!
We can hardly wait to see you and your children again. Enjoy the last weeks of summer, and see you on the 13th!
Kol tuv,
Jan Rabinowitch
Director of Education
