Worship

Congregation Kol Ami is our spiritual home. As a house of prayer, we gather together in congregational worship to seek God’s presence, to share our lives as Jews and to be part of the community of Israel. Some are seeking to discover, some to rediscover, all to experience the richness of our Jewish heritage. Because people come to Congregation Kol Ami from a broad spectrum of backgrounds and lifestyles, our worship services offer a diversity of style, blending the traditional with the contemporary in prayer and song. All are welcome to attend services.

Shabbat Evening

On Shabbat eve, services are at 7:30 p.m. Some weeks we meet together in person in our synagogue sanctuary, and some Friday nights we meet only on Zoom. Please make sure to check our calendar ahead of time each week when making your Shabbat plans. These services include plenty of singing and opportunities to share the good moments of our week.

Shabbat Morning

We continue the celebration of Shabbat in the morning at 10:00 a.m. Ours is an informal, participatory service where all are invited to share reading, singing and being part of a warm and welcoming community.

For Children and Families

Tot Shabbat – on the second Saturday of each month at 9:00 a.m., young families gather for a Shabbat experience celebrating through story, song, and art. Throughout the year there are many other Shabbat Experiences for early readers and their families.
