Clark County Food Bank
Repack food monthly on the 4th Tuesday, 5:30 – 8 pm
CCFB is a member of the Oregon Food Bank network and provides bulk food to 29 emergency food pantries and meal sites. They, in turn, distribute food to hungry and food insecure individuals, families and children of diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds at or below 185 percent of federal poverty guidelines.
Volunteers are crucial to accomplishing the CCFB’s mission. Every month, on the 4th Tuesday evening of the month, volunteers from Congregation Kol Ami gather at the facility to repack whatever foods are onsite. People from ages 6 to 106 are welcome in our group of 10 to 15 volunteers each month. If you are interested in helping one time or frequently, contact Kol Ami’s Food Bank liaison, Joni Berinstein at [email protected]. When we volunteer, we meet at CCFB which is located at 6502 NE 47th Avenue Vancouver WA 98661.
