Kol Ami and Friends and First Congregational-United Church of Christ team up to host at St Paul W.H.O. the week of Sunday evening, March 18 thru Sunday morning, March 25.
This week is the 2nd to last week of the 2017-2018 WHO season. Often, slowly improving weather means fewer men stay at St Paul, but so far the site remains full with many of the same men who have been there all winter. Some are students at Clark College, some are employed, others volunteer at social service agencies in town. Unlike many years, there is such limited housing in our area that even though many of the men prime candidates for housing spots, there simply are not properties available to rent. While WHO is open, they need the housing, and the host congregation at St Paul, Lutheran Church needs our partnership to help to staff the program.
Please join in helping to keep this well run program that provides shelter during the coldest months of the year to 24 men and 50 women and children over the two 2 church sites of St Paul and St. Andrew. online signup at http://signup.com/go/DGRC5c Youth ages 10 and older can work with an adult.
